Camping 2008

We had a fun week camping! It was different without everyone there, and once again we had waaaay too much food. (Uncle Steve had to empty his potty 3 times, Dad only had to do ours once!) Also, Cruella made a special visit this year to see Aunt Susan's 4 puppies. Here are some pictures of our week.

Yikes!!

Tornado warning issued for TF CountyA tornado warning is in effect this afternoon for central Twin Falls County until 2:45 p.m.The tornado, which has not touched down, was near Hollister at about 2 p.m. It's headed for Twin Falls at about 2:35 p.m. and it's scheduled to be near Kimberly and Hansen at about 2:45 p.m.

This was our afternoon, it was kinda scary to hear that it was headed our way. Luckily it didn't touch down. Just thunder, wind, rain and hail. Half of Dad's corn was blown down and he lost two tomato plants.

The Elli Show

We saw the best show in Springville..... here is more of the Elli movie! Elli in her froggie jammies
Who is Elli calling?
Such a good helper for Grandpa.
There always has to be a naked baby picture to look at!
Whew! I made it up the stairs!

Aunty Jenn got these basketballs for Elli, she carried them everywhere.
Brandon says she loves the banana chairs, she takes her toys and sits or stands on them. Just adorable! I love her smile.
Not quite the family picture I had in mind. Steph and Nate I missed having you guys with us.
You just want to scoop her up and love her!

Elli woke up Monday morning at 5:40 am (I think that was the time, anyway it was before 6:00am) She wouldn't go back to sleep so Brandon brought her down and she was on the go and jabbering away! Aunty Jenn shared her IPOD with Elli and she loved it! (The sound you hear at the beginning is a city worker doing the jackhammer outside at 6:55am!)

I opened the bathroom door to get something and Elli walked in and grabbed the toilet paper and walked out...she had so much fun with it. (It was used later......)

Elli wanted to go on the steps which she is not allowed to do, she didn't want anything to do with the camera case. Uncle Brycie came to the rescue.

Our "Elli" bration!

Our 4th of July weekend started with Dad making strawberry jam! Yummy! Then we went to Utah to see Elli, Alison and Brandon. Isn't her curl adorable?
We celebrated her first birthday and Uncle Bryson was the lucky one, he got to blow up the Dora ball pit. Thank you Brycie.
Elli helped put the balls in the pit.
Peek a Boo, I see you!

Play Time in Pine

We rode the 4 wheelers to the top of the mountain with Susan and Glenn. (My hair held up really well!)

I couldn't sleep last night so I finished another blanket at 2:30am.

Just Another Summer Day!

I finished this blanket today. I think it turned out really cute.
They say corn should be knee high by the 4th of July...Looks like Dad's is ahead of schedule!

Mom's Fabric Store

Brandon, Dad and Jenn helped put these cupboards up. It is so nice to just open the doors and see what fabric I have.
I leave the gardening and fishing to Dad... and I spend my time hemstitching and crocheting!

The Happy Gardener

Grandpa's garden is growing! We have been eating lettuce every day and there is a tomato the size of a golf ball so hopefully we will have tomatoes to go with the lettuce soon! The squash, cucumbers and pumpkins and corn are all looking good!Mike went fishing at Roseworth and had a blast. As you can see it was a very successful fishing trip. He had a good time and will be cooking and eating them all by himself!
